At 9pm unfiltered results from our Friday poll are as follows:
Mikey still in lead at 59.5%, followed by Suzie with 34.5%, Jennie with 11.2% and Imogen with 10.3%.

Specialbets are coming to you from an un-named festival, hence the short post. Good luck!

The "Twist" - UPDATE!

Following up on our "twist" post yesterday, Special Bets understands that the evicted housemates from THIS series (but not Shahbaz, Dawn, George or Sezer) will be present at the live show tonight.

The public will then be given the option to vote until Wednesday for the housemate they would most like to see back in the house.

On Wednesday's show, the four housemates who get the most public votes will move into the "house next door"

They will then live there until Friday, at which point the the regular HM's
will be informed of what's going on (assuming they aren't heard like last time!

They will then have to choose one person from the "house next door" to enter the new house.
That housemate IS eligible to win. Bizzarely, whoever is evicted tonight is also eligible to return... keep it here for updates! PS, Mikey is still in the lead in our current eviction poll with 58% of your votes..

11th Eviction Survey Update: Fri 11.30am - Bye Bye Mikey?

Since The Sun Leak about nominations broke on Tuesday morning we have been asking you who you want to see go tonight.

Of the 490 unfiltered responses, we see you voted 40.1% Mikey, 33.3% Susie, 9.3% Jennie, 8.6% Imogen
(8.6% said you would not vote)

When we filter out non-voters we see 49.8% Mikey, 31.6% Susie, 8.7% Jennie, 8.7% Imogen.
(1.2% contradicted themselves)

When we filter for those more likely to vote than not, we see Mikey 57.1%, Susie 26.5%, Imogen 9.1%, Jennie 6.8%.
(0.5% contradicted themselves)

So it would seem, as we suggested on Tuesday, that Mikey's spat-filled week has seen him pull well clear of the pack.

We will be conducting our usual Friday Eviction survey in order to gauge sentiment right up to the eviction itself..

Stay tuned for more updates.

Major Twist Planned For Tomorrow's Eviction Show!

Special Bets understands that there will be a "major" twist on Friday's eviction show after the normal eviction.

TWO people will leave the house on Friday - the normal evictee and one other housemate.

A separate source close to the show informs us that "old housemates" will be involved. Could the public be voting for an evicted housemate to rejoin the house replacing one of the current HMs? Will NIKKI "do a John Tickle" ?

Special Bets understand that the "replacement" vote will involve Jonathan, Nikki, Grace and "AN Other". Endemol's Brighter Pictures will lead us to believe that that the new housemate may be able to win the show - but we suspect they won't... keep it here for updates!

Big Brother Betting Scam = William Hill Caught With Their Trousers Down?

The bookies seem to be a bit confused about this week's eviction. After pricing Mikey up for eviction at 5-1, William Hill were then confused by the amount of money they then took, crying "scam" to the tabloids;

Did ALL the money come from Special Bets readers?

We first highlighted that Mikey was ahead among voters to go on this site on Tuesday, but regular readers of Statman's popular "hate" charts and our pre nominations poll would have known all along that Mikey was never a 5-1 shot!. Perhaps mighty William Hill might like to click over to this unmighty blog for a few words of advice - the comment section is open!

11th Eviction Survey Update: Weds 11pm - Bye Bye Mikey?

Since we saw The Sun leak that Imogen, Mikey, Jennie and Suzie were up for eviction first thing yesterday morning we have been asking our increasingly accurate polling group who they would like to see go this week. It’s closer than some might think.

Of the 432 respondents so far, this is who you would like to see leave on Friday:

Removing responders who said they would not vote the group says;

Mikey 49%, Susie, 32.4%, Imogen 8.7%, Jennie 8.7%
(1.3% contradicted themselves)

Of those who said at least they would "probably", "most likely" or "definitely" vote in Friday's eviction the results were;

Mikey 56.6%, Susie 26.9%, Imogen 9%, Jennie 7.1%
(0.5% contradicted themselves)

We noticed that Mikey’s abusive antics towards Susie last week did him no favours whatsoever, and turned him into a serious contender for least liked housemate. Surely the guy will keep his head down now and try and sneak into the final week??

It doesn’t look like it…

Live feed fans will know that he turned his guns on both Imogen and Jennie yesterday. These arguments are headlines on the Channel 4 website and are to be featured in tonight’s highlights show, giving the anti-Mikey crew more ammunition.

As a reminder – here’s the emotional view from the negative angle for the four housemates in question according to our special survey:

Could Mikey be becoming too spikey to likey? We think so…

Nominations Leaked - Please Try To Care!!!

According to this story in The Online Sun this week’s nominations have been revealed unusually early. In a titanic Battle of the Mannequins, the article names Imogen, Jennie, Mikey and Susie as the housemates up to face the public vote.

When we did our special survey two weeks ago, your overall emotions towards to these particular housemates was one of intense aloofness, with Imogen, Mikey, and Susie all registering a reading over 40% on the “Who???” scale. It was only Jennie that managed to trigger any sort of emotion in you all, with 45% of you saying that you “liked” her. That’s nice, but it doesn’t tell us a great deal about the pending negative vote if the Sun article is right.

We have already snapped into action and started our eviction poll based on this leak...

Keep it here for updates.

Statman

Rock Hard Richard

The Special Bets team would like to officially tip their hat towards the record set by a certain Camp Canadian last Friday. No other housemate in the history of Big Brother has survived as many public votes . Richard has been put up for eviction FIVE times (the last one cruelly on his birthday), and incredibly he still remains a fully upright Homo Erectus.

If anything, his popularity appears to be increasing. His association with Pete throughout the “Best Friends” task last week has seen his rating as a second favourite jump from 11% to 26%, making him easily the voter’s favourite runner-up. This is without any potential sympathy vote that may emerge from Friday’s emotional letter from home.

For the record, here’s the record:

Has he really been surviving due to his genuine popularity, or has it been the burning desire from the public to evict his opponent that has seen him through? Whatever your opinion about this is, the eviction record still stands.

Well done Dickie!

Could he survive a sixth, if nominated? We will use the gift of the poll to find out, and as always, let you know first.

Best

Statman

P.S. We're also conducting another special survey this week about your feelings towards the remaining housemates. Last time we ran this survey the sound of numbers getting crunched coming from my room made the neighbour's dog bark for three days straight. That dog will bark again in the name of eviction prediction truth.
